My recollection was neither could make a stick back. Carver was notorious for having hands of stone. He did some some progress by his senior year.

Yeah Carver was awful at getting the ball in the basket. Incredible at defense/rebounding/picks/etc. Denzell Taylor was an expert at passes from the top of the key
