Now if we can get Verlander and other players in Major League Baseball & NFL, ODU would be financially ok.
Verlander ever donated anything?
He donated a decent amount to the Paul Keyes indoor hitting facility.

A normal vertical statue of Heinicke is due, but one of those optical illusion ones with him mid-pylon dive would look so much cooler

Classic Heinicke! I have no stats or facts to back up this opinion, but I really doubt there is a QB, pro or college, that has made more pylon dive touchdowns than Taylor Heinicke.
I have been a Cowboys fan since 1960, and I raised two sons to also be dedicated Cowboys fans. They almost disowned me a couple of years ago when they found out I had a burgandy Washington #4 Heinicke jersey hanging in my closet.

He is a great guy.
Plisco’s first job out of college was at my former company. Accounting Major. Hired in finance. My son was transferring into ODU for accounting. My best buddy at work hired Jonathan. Forwarded his resume to me. It was one of the best college resumes I’ve seen. Sure he had professional help but it was good, even ignoring the one page of football highlights.
I sent it to my son and said, “this is what you will be competing with!” Son knuckled down, and ignoring football, blew Jonathan’s away. The head of accounting department contacted his best buddy (a partner at a Big 4 accounting firm in Richmond) about my son. He got a Big 4 job he never actually applied for! ALL thanks in no small part to Jonathan Plisco.

Question for you: I heard a comment from someone that the Big 4 doesn't recruit at ODU anymore. Is that true?

I mean is there any more iconic pose of Heinicke? The fact this was a key moment in his record setting game, adn the amount of times he did this in the NFL, this is the only option!

How could I forget about Plisco, kicking myself for that (no pun intended). He absolutely deserves a spot
