Colorado has won some games this year, and they've been competitive against almost everyone despite their atrocious depth. They'll be much better next year. Arizona is ranked #15 and has been the 3rd best team in a stacked Pac 12 this year.

Granted Arizona football is inconsistent but this year the Wildcats beat 3 ranked opponents in a row and the 3 losses are by a combined 16 points with 2 of the games in overtime(s). If the PAC-12 still had divisions, UofA would have won the South and gone to the CCG.

I'd really like to see Boise State in the American.

Boise State will continue to be overlooked as long as their in the Mountain West.

The sweetheart deal and staying in the MWC was a huge mistake. If they were in the same conference as UCF, Cincy, Houston, Memphis and Tulane. Realignment may have played out differently. The American's domination over the NY6 slot has made Boise State irrelevant.

Can’t think of another coach who was fired midseason and the team went on to win the championship

Tuscaloosa and Birmingham metros are over 1.5 million combined in the heart of football county. No pro teams to compete with in any sport for media coverage. They also dominate the sports news in other cities in the state except for Montgomery which gives equal coverage to Auburn.

But Clemson is in Upstate SC and has a bunch around it. The only place close to Pullman is Moscow
