No. Once you are gone you are out.

6 games and maybe an extra ND game is out?

You are not ND, not even close. ND did not start as a member of the ACC and ask to go quasi independent.

RE: ACC Private vs Public scheduling model
For a minute, let’s not make this about FSU.

Overall, how does this divisional alignment look? Are the important, traditional rivalries, games of interest kept/restored? Wouid the grouping of the big stadium public universities help them increase attendance, donor support, merchant sales, etc.? With the grouping of the Privates, will it “level the playing field” when they are competing with each other rather than the so called “football factories”? The added perk for the private schools is that they wouid get more of ND, this would especially be good for Pitt, BC and Cuse.

Why this arrangement would be good for FSU...long term. FSU wants their stadium filled every home game which is a big reason why FSU is flirting with the SEC, cut out the private schools and Doak ticket sales and demand will go up. Unlike ND, the ACC/ESPN still has ownership of all of FSU games, maybe there is a tv rev increase for FSU/ACC if FSU can add 1 or 2 extra marquee OOC games.

The ACC as a whole should want this because of the success initiative; you win the ACC and you get a revenue boost. Without FSU in the picture, your team’s odds have gone up.
