Can We Borrow Scotty Davenport Please?
We have a Kenny Payne problem you see and Bellarmine's coach is well...kinda good at coaching. We will give him back once Jay Wright is convinced he doesn't need to be retired anymore.COGS

Ha. Appreciate the love, but this is a hard no.

Don't follow U of L and can't comment on his coaching, but Payne seems like a good dude.

Meanwhile, BU is struggling with its recurring severe injury problem -- starting forward Curt Hopf apparently is out indefinitely, and the Knights aren't exactly loaded with size.

You all will beat us...again. Scotty runs an offense and plays disciplined defense. He knows how to draw up plays and fire his boys up. Kenny is a good dude. He would be great as a counselor at Boy's Haven or even a pastor. I don't think anyone can seriously doubt he wants to be a good mentor. I really want him to succeed, but it's quite obvious he isn't going to. I believe he was pressured/manipulated into taking the job at Louisville by friends who promised they would have his back knowing he wasn't qualified to run a major DI basketball program. He was a pawn of their agenda. At least he was smart enough to secure a lucrative contract for the humiliation he is enduring.

I have watched UofL, and even though most of the team is different from last year, they play exactly like they did last year. As a tax payer and Metro Louisville resident I really hope Payne gets it turned around, but it does not look likely. The idea that a program that until very recently was the most profitable basketball program in the NCAA, would hire a coach without head coaching experience is ridiculous. There is a reason a 54 year old guy has never been a head coach.

Scotty would have loved to been the UofL coach, but they disrespected him by not even considering him. Its amazing how many of the biggest name coaches will name Scotty as one of the best basketball coaches around.

RE: Can We Borrow Scotty Davenport Please?
Well, it was closer than I thought it'd be, especially after I heard BU would be missing a second starter!
