RE: Week 12 game thread
NMSU outgained Auburn 414-213, so the 31-10 score wasn’t even a fluke.

If Jerry Kill wasn't such a health liability he would have a darn good P5 gig...

Yeah, he’d be at a top-25 P5 school by now. Great deal for NMSU.

That has to be the most surprising game result of the day.

Great win for NMSU. They earned it convincingly.

Auburn has Alabama next week.

Congratulations to New Mexico State 31 Auburn 10. It was no fluke they beat Auburn in every phase of the game including and especially coaching. They were very prepared, schemed Auburn well, obviously scouted Auburn well, and Auburn didn't do the same. Then they outplayed and out hustled Auburn and deserve the win in every regard. Kudos to Coach Kill.

Jordan Travis's season looks done. Regardless if FSU comes back, I don't see them making the CFP.....

Jordan Travis goes down, all of sudden being down 13-0 is not even the most worrisome thing.

Caused by a hip-drop tackle. I beg all of you not to see the replay in real-time. It was that bad.

Arkansas State 77 Texas State 31 oof.

Lamar won to be 6-5.

Battle for the UAC title, Austin Peay State beat UCA 14 to 12. UCA may not get into the playoffs now.

Kansas 20 K-State 16 Half

Jayhawks score right before half to take the lead. Wildcats have been shaky on the road this year....

I cannot begin to describe the atmosphere in the stadium after it happened. It just makes me so sick to think about. The silver lining is that Tate Rodemaker, our backup, has played for a long time and has had to come in in similar situations (last year he beat Louisville on the road after Jordan got injured in that game), so he is experienced. Whatever remote chance we had at winning the championship is gone, but very hopeful that the team can come together and win the next two games. Time will tell. All that aside though, just so sad for Travis. He was an old-fashioned story: not a natural passer who just worked and worked and worked and battled some terrible situations to get to where he is, and to have it all thrown away on senior day is so painful.
