Thanks to all the Rocket fans that went to the Doyt tonight! Crowd of 20,590. Not bad for a MACTION Tuesday night in Wood County. You all looked great on ESPN2 decked out in Toledo colors, except for the guy with the UM stuff.

Must have just grabbed some blue and gold clothing gold out of the laundry hamper and put it on without looking at it. Let's face it - that is probally the ONLY blue and gold athletic gear he owns. He knows he can pull it off at Toledo game, but he would never try to attend a Michigan game wearing Toledo gear.

If I got hold of cheap ticket to one of their home games, that's a brilliant idea, exactly what I'd do.

So many TV shots with young UT fans sitting next to their counterparts from BGSU. You wouldn't dare do that sitting next to OSU fans at the shoe wearing UM colors, just saying.

It's hard not to have family or friend ties to BG. The healthy ribbing is a part of the rivalry. It's why the best rivalries in the MAC are close in proximity. You almost need more separation in a league with wide wide distances to not associate with your rival "at all."

Number of family members went to BG and or on staff. Friends played sports or on staff for the Falcons. So yes it's hard not to be tainted somehow.
No suffering with post-game calls, text, or emails this year.
I will have bragging rights at Thanksgiving and Christmas family dinners.
