Mercer Football DC Joel Taylor has been named the new HC at West Georgia. He will lead the program into its first season of Division I football in 2024.

Wolves will host Samford to open the season and Shorter later in the season for non-conference games. They also play at ACU as a non-conference game even though ACU is in the UAC. Because of that, Wolves will be the only team to play all UAC opponents in 2024.
