It's amazing how much of an improvement the SBC has been to CUSA's media deal.

Even though we straight up stink this year, we've gotten more games on linear ESPN networks than I can recall in a long time. Can't imagine how different it would be if we didn't suck.

I’m just glad this game isn’t at home. We’ve taken the short stick on this week more than other teams and I’m glad it’s an away game this time.

Don't worry, terrible teams don't get on TV. We haven't gotten on once this year after last year's disaster.

I love the SBC's media deal. I hope our relationship with the combo of ESPN and the NFLN continue for a long time.

Feeling your pain. Over the years seems like Marshall also has a game the Saturday after Thanksgiving more often than not.

This year we only have one Saturday game that’s not a holiday weekend. Four long weekends and a Thursday night. Wasn't bad when we’re winning games but a couple losses and you start thinking about sending a 2024 calendar to the athletic department so they balance it better next year. To make it more complicated, I have 3 grandkids born during football season. I also need to send a calendar to the kids and their spouses before I end up with birthday parties every football game weekend.

NFLN puts on a really good broadcast! Good commentators.

Agree. The NFLN is a really solid production. Glad we get to showcase some games on that network.

I'm just glad Troy isn't playing at the same time as the Iron Bowl. Might help keep Troy eyes on our game and not wandering over to see Alabama beat up on Auburn.
