The Scarlet Hawks come in probably tired, as this is their third game in three days including a late afternoon game yesterday. They are 1-2, beating Albion and losing to Wis-Oshkosh and the Univ of Chicago. Their FG and 3pt percentages are nothing to brag about.

6'5" Garrison Carter is their leading scorer and 6'10" Joshua Iguarde leads in rebounds.

Should be a spread the minutes around game for the Huskies. If our guys lose, I will cancel my trip to Atlanta and the Georgia State MTE.

From what I understand D3 games don't even count when it comes to Net ratings-win or lose.

I wouldn't really bother to play Coit and other regular starters much. Get all the bench guys a bunch of playing time and if we win by 30 or lose by 5 it doesn't matter.

But it does matter. Any live action you get with guys playing together and forming better chemistry is a positive.

The problem with this game is, right now...NIU is playing like they are considerably better and are somewhat sloppy with that. But this is where Burno has to coach and reign them in.

I'd say being up by 30 is good but then I saw D3 UW-Oshkosh beat them by 30 and the announcers said this is ILL Tech's first season at D3.

Ethan Butler might be injured. He had his shot blocked at the rim as he was coming in hard and he bent backwards weird and caught his right leg underneath. They took him out of the game.

Has Durosinmi fallen out of favor? Seemed like he played way more last year and hasn't played much in these 3 games.

Outrebounded them 51-31.

Needs improvement: 13-of-29 at FT line and perimeter defense (gave up 10 three-pointers).

Right. Its a combination of that and he lost his starting position to Ibarguen last year.

That makes him the 3rd string big man.

Also...

He's not that good. But the dude shoots as pure a FT as I've ever seen. #NoDribbles!!!

They are. I don't think Amari took a shot. Gogic missed 2 FTs. But Tipton had a real nice steal and contested finish at the other end.
