No. Its not "brutal" its a pretty decent, solid upper mid-major schedule that we should be able to handle and come through with a much better than .500 record. This is what people are talking about when they say we have begun to "accept mediocrity". There are only two teams on the whole non conference schedule that we shouldn't expect to beat, Arkansas and TCU.

Princeton, Radford, Drexel, Northeastern, WM, JMU, Ball State? C'mon where's the brutality? It's basically the old CAA that we used to dominate.

There isn't many mid majors except the upper tier mids that are playing as difficult of a schedule as we are. I don't think anyone in the conference comes close to the schedule outside of Arkansas State/

I'd like to revisit this towards the end of the season. Just perusing our OOC schedule, I doubt this is true. In regards to our conference mates, sure. But there will be plenty of non-power 5 schools with more difficult schedules. I believe you are too accustomed to Jeff Jones' typical cupcake schedules.

I'll be honest. If are beat JMU once, I'll be elated.

You're spot on as usual monarx. Dumbing down the schedule and then touting it as anything special is unacceptable - especially when the team comes up short against it.

Im not saying its the toughest of anyone but feel free to send a few mids that have tougher non conference schedules, considering home and road
