According to a glowing article in the Wall Street Journal, James Madison University is the new darling Cinderella of the FBS. Way back during the Orange Bowl season, NIU was the goat who didn’t deserve to be there. What didn’t we do right to spin the media in our favor??

We had our 15 minutes. Coastal Carolina did too. Its their turn and it will be over before you can even remember their mascot.

Everyone always loves an "underdog story" and that is JMU. Football made the jump from FCS (I-AA) to the FBS (I) level and is one of only seven or eight unbeaten football programs left.
The Dukes men's basketball program just dealt Michigan State a season-opening loss in East Lansing and followed that with an overtime road win against a MAC favorite in Kent State, so JMU is making headlines. The clock will eventually strike midnight.

I think the only thing to potentially help you in your confusion would be to ask....who cares?
