MACtion on T/W this week!

Toledo is on the verge of clinching the West. They are up 49-9 with 10 minutes left over Eastern Michigan and will move to 6-0. With NIU and CMU losing yesterday, they will be 3 games up on 3 teams and 4 up on the other two with just 2 games to play.

West Ohio is winning today. Bowling Green up 49-19 with a couple minutes left. Miami beat Akron 19-0. Lost of 9s today!

Miami moved a step closer to the East title as they are now 5-1. They only need to win one of their last two. They will be 1 up on Bowling Green and Ohio, both of whom they have beaten. Ohio beat Buffalo yesterday to make it easier for Miami. They still play Buffalo, so Miami could have lost a tiebreak at 6-2, but not now.

Toledo, Miami, Ohio and Bowling Green will be bowl eligible. 4 schools already have 7 losses or more. 3 schools are at 4-6 and will have to win their last two to be bowl eligible. CMU is 5-5 and only needs one more win.

Whoa what happened in the Virginia at Louisville game? It was 14-0 Louisville, I step out for a sec and then it's 14-14.

Where is the laughable scores thread when you need one?

This was one I had as an upset watch. UVA beat UNC a couple weeks back.
UL apparently just scored to tie it at 24-24 in the 4th.

UL pulled it out 31-24 with a 73 yard run with 3 minutes left.

They are in really good shape for the CCG. They are 6-1 with wins over 5 of the 6 teams with 2 losses (all but UNC). So they have to have good tiebreaks relative to UNC and they should win any ties as long as UNC isn't involved because of head to head.

I know it’s not huge ratings for them, but I love the tunes/weds MACtion.

Quite the turnaround UNLV has had under Barry Odem.
Now 8-2 and maybe playing towards a CCG if they beat Air Force next week.

1 and 2 loss teams all held serve during the weekday games-Toledo, Miami, Louisville, SMU and UNLV all won.

Refs seem concerned about the point spread in Alabama-Kentucky. They will not call holding or pass interference on Bama (I think they did call one really egregious one which lead to UK's lone score). Alabama is so much better, but the refs seem determined to make it a huge rout instead of merely a big win.
