We’re all guilty of the transitive property in sports to some degree but you’re absolutely right, it does not hold as each day, matchup, and game are too different to compare.

Arizona/Colorado tied. A Buffs loss puts them in bad shape for a bowl, would put them at 6 losses with road games at Wash St and #13 Utah upcoming.
