Jacksonville State vs. South Carolina
Has there ever been a game between two teams nicknamed the Gamecocks?

Neither one of them look "Game". Perhaps they need some Viagra to add aggression?
Or it could be the smaller one is Game and the Bigger one is looking like a Capon.
Well South Carolina had some pluckiness in them after all. Jacksonville State made them earn it!

Jacksonville State sure did come to Columbia ready to win, just glad to have survived this cockfight in a disappointing season. Hopefully we can do it again down the road, would be a fun game to have every few years.

I thought cockfights were illegal in South Carolina? It's the wounded Tiger that would redeem your season!

Indeed, cockfights are now illegal in all US states, territories and DC. So I think we could have the USC-JSU cockfight every few years to pay homage to the long history there, and yet no animals need be harmed. It's the only legal cockfight that can occur on US soil!

You're right about the wounded tiger, unless we sweep all the rest (Vandy, Kentucky and Clemson so not impossible) there'll be no postseason and a Clemson win would make the winter a lot more pleasant. That 41-39 loss to Florida looms large and probably doomed our minor bowl prospects. Congrats to the other Gamecocks though, they will hopefully make a bowl at 7-3 currently!

Fla state didn't fair so well the last time we met.

I have a friend who went to South Carolina. Was really hoping Jax St would pull it out so I could text him that his school a) isn’t the best Carolina, b) isn’t the best USC and c) aren’t the best Gamecocks

If cockfights are illegal in every state, they could play the game in the Bahamas, or perhaps Puerto Rico if it's legal there.

You can still do it, just may not be accurate at this point in time but is overall.

Still calling for an MTE with SC, JSU, Delaware, and Coastal Carolina sponsored by Popeye's (or KFC, Zaxbys, Canes, whatever - take your pick).

Leaving money on the table. . .

Colorado vs NDSU (Howard might not be able to compete) sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings or Ted's

For an MTE they'd be fine. Add Marshall for a 4th team. Boom.

We should open a consultant firm for this stuff.

Still waiting for Kennesaw State to join the AAC so they can have an Owl pod with Temple, Rice, and FAU.
