Cow, I love watching the game in person on the gray turf, but on TV it does indeed suck!

Also very exciting to think about what the $$ will go to. Not sure of what this Phase II is but sounds like it will be another great addition to the SAPC. Maybe new turf, heated bench seats for players, removal of track, new athlete cafeteria, stadium improvements, etc. All exciting to think about.

It creates a better Student-Athlete experience and as a benefit, it will hopefully continue recruiting efforts.

Also, curious to think about if Maxx is involved with how it is spent. I know I would want to be part of allocation

Not sure what is involved now but a few years back Phase II did include removal of the rack and athlete cafeteria.

Phase II now will be very different than the former Phase I and II.

As I have previously indicated the old plans were scrapped (?) When EMU couldn't build at the NW corner of Rynearson because of soil conditions. What we see in the north end was to go in the corner and PHASE II behind the end line.

I love the timing of this. After the teams worst defeat in recent history Maxx and his wife reaffirm their faith in man who was Maxxs football coach but there for Maxx asa person and the program by writing a personal check for $1 million. EMU football fans and current football players should be encouraged by this.

Calm down - I've always been a Maxx fan - that was a comment on EMU being inexpensive.

This is f***ing crazy to me. Our forum recruiting guru ‘79 seems to place a lot of weight on recruits who receive multiple D1 offers- which seems sound. By that standard, Maxx Crosby was not a very impressive recruit???

You miss the other half, Creighton and staff have been sound scouts of talent. Look at Banham, Knue, Hoss and other former walkons, Gomez, our punters and kickers etc. Yes we are NOW getting players with multiple D1 offers but early in his time here CC had to roll the dice. I don't think Erickson the RB had other d1 offers either as an example.

This is very true. In the early C.C. days he won WITH EXCELLENT COACHING. I assume DeBoar and Gruggs were very effective coaches for the EMU offense while they were here. The talent level was thin back then.

Now we have better talent but we keep getting our coaches poached.

The regents say it's about 2.5 million.
