the only fast track...was LSD. (dunno...never tried)

Not sure you can call it enlightenment.

enlightenment could take some time...LSD in the 60's was instant enlightenment. My favorite band (The Moody Blues) was into that movement...and fell in with LSD Guru Timothy Leary. That's how LSD was described...basically enlightenment on a budget.

Look what LSD did to Peter Green.

Ha ha. I hear you. Love the Moody Blues too. "Timothy Leary's dead. No, no, no, no he's outside, looking in." If you don't mind covers and appreciate a little "bluegrass" twang, I highly recommend you check out Moody Bluegrass. It's good stuff.

love those albums...back in the early 2000s I finally got to be a dj...(had been hired by John Rainer to work at WSFZ Sports Radio for the Fans, the day I reported to work...they were shutting down)worked for a country station called WFMW here in Madisonville. Started off working weekends...but I was good enough to be on air during the week too...so I filled in for people wanting a week off from work during the weekdays.
Only country I knew before then was the country/pop crossover tunes like Southern Nights by Glen Campbell LOL.
Got into George Strait, Terri Clark, and a few others... like Allison Krauss so I developed an appreciation of other forms of music...specifically bluegrass.
Came across those 2 albums (they did 2 Moody Bluegrass albums)...adds a totally new dimension to that music.

Alison Krauss & Union Station has to be one of the best country albums I've ever heard. Caught them at the Orpheum when they came through Memphis and it was one of the top ten best live shows I've ever seen in my life. Good stuff.
