Looks like a good starting line up. I am sure Coach S. will want to look at as many of his players as possible through out the game. I really want to see the freshmen Sisk and Johnson show what they can do. Cannot wait!

Excited for the season!

We held them to no field goals for the first 11 mins. We hit.18 threes. Peterson looks really fast, can move, can pass. Great PG. Asamoah looked good and of course Seymour looks really good. Karon Boyd plays as hard as anyone. I know it’s Wise but we got after it. Feels completely different than last year, which is a good thing. Lots of other positives, but those stand out.

Bucs looked good and played hard tonight. Coaches have really upped the talent level and it is so nice to have a very good, talented point guard out there in Peterson. Of course the competition level is going to go way up but at least we have what it takes in both talent and coaching to be a contender this year. Looking forward to this season!

One of the most telling differences from last year shows up in the play of Justice Smith. He isn't standing midcourt with the ball looking nervously back at the bench wondering what to do. He is aggressive and confident with the ball, but under control either driving to the basket or shooting the three.
A really entertaining group to watch play. Quick and energetic.
Post play may be a concern but it appears that shooting from outside has been emphasized to offset that somewhat.

Step by step improvements will make this new team a very good one. Great game and Savage said they took this game seriously( as they should have]. The whole team played excellent ....... Go Bucs

It looked like the team really enjoyed playing with one another. They were cheering each other on throughout the game. I didn't see much of that last year. The level of competition made it tough to really figure out how well we will compete in the SoCon this season but I am optimistic we will at the very least be competitive.

It was a pleasant surprise to see Karon Boyd get the start. I wasn't really sure where he would fit in or where he would be in the rotation

What is also so really encouraging is that this team is just going to get better and better as the season progresses!

Dad was very impressed with Boyd. Expects him to be a top contributor.
