Nebraska will hopefully be in a conference with Northern Iowa and Eastern Illinois where they belong by 2032

I'm sure we got a decent check but that's how it works downstream again:

Pay the liquidated damages to buy out one of the other games, pack Nippert to the gills, make Nebraska miserable and give our fans a memory for years.

Thanks for screwing over our fans and giving up home field advantage to a team that hasn't been relevant since the 90's.

The last time UC played a "home" game on a neutral field the game was in Maryland. It was kind of awesome. Great environment, incredible ending.

I like the neutral field idea. Not so much at the expense of a home game, but...

You have to admit that the Colt's stadium will be a lot more comfortable on a 90 degree August day than being jammed in tighter than a turtle's pecker at Nippert with some 350 pound slob that's taking up his seat and yours sweating all over you.

Lucas Oil is the best NFL Stadium I've been to. It's awesome.

I've been to:
Riverfront
PBS
Cleveland Brown Stadium
Heinz Field
The Superdome
Soldier Field
The RCA Domb
The Pontiac Silverdome
RFK
Raymond James Stadium
Hard Rock Stadium
and Jerry's World

Honestly pretty excited about a close, neutral site game for a quick weekend trip. Should be a fun environment.

As long as it is not like that game vs Indiana State at the Hoosier Dome (way back in the 80's for you young folk).

It actually sounds like we didn't lose a home game either, so, to me, this is a pretty good move.

I hate it. These games needs to be played at Nippert, not at a neutral field when UC has to go to their stadium in the return. They better know that the home schedule will have strong conference teams visiting that season to offset that move.

How do you figure?

The 2025 home game against Nebraska was moved to Indianapolis. And we added a 2032 away game at Nebraska. Is there something I missed?

Nebraska wasn’t coming here and UC needed to get out of those G5 road games. Once again the 2032 road game is the only real negative but it’s basically the AD kicking the can down the road for someone to deal with or buy out.

Short term this is good for UC as long as they fix on the field product.

Count me in too. Louisville played IU up there this year so it may be the beginnings of a regional neutral site venue in the coming years. B10 vs. B12; short drive for UC folks and a great venue with solid amenities. Frankly, I'm much more worried about what kind of team UC will be fielding at that point than a matchup with Nebraska, played almost anywhere.

I know there’s many things to consider with these decisions but to build our brand we need to keep beating all these teams. Make them all come to Nippert.

Why weren’t they going to come here? If we already have a signed contract, don’t let them out of it.

They dropped the WKU away game and are adding a home game to replace it...so we are going to have 7 home games that season along with this neutral site game.
