Very surprised about five pickers picking against Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a Tennessee team that lost this year to Florida. This is the fourth Alabama game I've chosen this season and two of them Alabama was chosen unanimously. The third one I was also surprised that three pickers picked Mississippi to beat them, also in Tuscaloosa although that was the week after they had the poor game at South Florida and two weeks after they lost at home to Texas.

I wonder if ENCterrapin purposedly waits each week for these to decide who to pick:)

I try to wait till the end of the week for news of injuries or players being held out for the game. Although I admit I have been distracted that past couple weeks because of events in another part of the world. Oh, and congrats to your Illini last week. I'm probably in the minority in either fan base, but I have really taken a liking to the Maryland vs Illinois games in football and basketball.

Sorry about that. I don't know how I messed that one up. I delete the wrong picks and EVERYONE picked Florida State so I shouldn't have erased anyone's pick for that game. You weren't even the only one I messed up. I somehow messed up Gamenole, a Florida State fan!

Harsin is why I didn't pick them. Freeze will be okay but the cupboard was bare. Harsin should have been fired for just cause. He did no work recruiting for 2 years, not high school games, not evaluation days, nada, and failed to pick up a recruit at the airport. It'll take Auburn another 2 years to get back up to strength.

Based on the group majority, it was the only "bad" pick I made. Almost everyone else picked Iowa to win. When only 3 of 18 pick Auburn to win and it's wrong, it's a bad pick.
