Since September of last year, in fact. Haven't been with anybody since the separation. That will change once the divorce is finalized.

I learned something about women a long time ago. When I was single I got dates and kept a steady but no woman ever propositioned me. I got married and the propositions started almost immediately and have remained through the decades.

I don't advocate or participate in infidelity, but this says something about women. They want men, but without commitment, and frequently on the side if they are mutually assured he won't reveal anything.

My favorite moment of ironic justice is when a woman I knew was hurting her kids and husband, thought she could cajole a lover at the school where she worked into keeping their secret but she wanted him to lend her money so she could afford a divorce. So essentially she set out to blackmail him by telling him she would tell his wife about their affair if he didn't help her out. He laughed, gave her his wife's cell phone number and said call her. She did. The wife of her paramour told her that they had an open marriage and she didn't care what bimbos he screwed and that she would call her husband. And she did.

It not only blew up in this hussy's face, but she lost custody of the kids and got no alimony in the divorce. Vindictive as ever she told the principal of her school that the man had seduced her and that now that it was public, she was humiliated. The principal said I'll handle it, and he transferred her to the roughest school in the city.

Sometimes God does work in mysterious ways. I had no doubt that the children were better off with the husband who was a straightforward hard working, caring, decent man. His mother and sister also helped with the kids. Both turned out well. Don't know what happened to the former wife, but she was a head case extroadaire.

It's amazing at the exes I had that did me wrong, track me down on social media, and found out I was happily married and asked if I wanted to rekindle things..

Nope.. I'm good.. I'm happy and I know where I stand with my wife day in and day out.

JRsec: Yeah, I'm not surprised at all. Women like her (and the woman in the story I posted) give the rest of the fairer sex a bad name.

I may get married again. Then again, I may not. But I'm not going to let my soon-to-be ex-wife cloud how I treat women in general. I treat women with respect until they give me a reason not to. Then, I just get the hell out.
