Liberty Bowl was the best.

CUSA West was so much fun.

No
Yes
Sometimes

Liberty Bowl berth 2013 after winning the whole ball of wax after vanquishing Tulane and Marshall (who’d pipped ECU) was epic. 10 win season but we smashed face first into one Dak Prescott who was able to pick us apart pretty good in aforementioned Liberty Bowl.

2008 Texas Bowl 10 win season Bailiff did it with KEN HATFIELD’s players (not Toad’s).

(Those guys were on the Hatfield scout team, halfway thru the ‘06 graham season they just kind of decided… we’re going to call our own plays and went from 1-5 to 7-5.)

But ‘08 Rice and Tulsa shared the West title at 7-1, h’canes got to play ECU cause of a silly tiebreaker and got pirated.

It’s been too long tulsa, are you still as lut as we remember?

More fun questions:

The Williams Trophy is named after:
A. Serena Williams
B. Internet Realignment speculation guru and USF alum Jim Williams
C. Venus Williams
D. Paul Williams (American singer/songwriter)
E. Paul Williams (Australian Rules footballer; Collingwood/Sydney)
F. None of the Above

(This should be a poll!)

Rice is our Rival. This is teh rivalry.

The game will be close. Rice has the best QB/WR combo in the league.

Wish I could make it but I rarely make it to Tulsa. I’ll go to Houston for it next year.

Let’s see…

RICE
Biggest Endowment in the Country (at least among non P4s and/or Ivy Leaguers)

Toppest academic rank BY FAR among that group. By any metric.

And we and our gazebo frens are the two SMALLEST PRIVATES in all of D1!!!

Tulsa’s be tinier tho.

Rice also has the trophy now with UConn, I guess technically THEY have the dam trophy now since they beat us but what’s it called again?

It’s Thursday Morning! Who’s ready for some AAC™ Thursday Night Football on the DEUCE?

Walk into your fave watering hole this eve. They’ll have it on. If not, pro tip. Eye contact with the bartender. Point to the biggest screen in the house. Then hold up 2 fingers. Nod, and smile politely. Bartender responds in kind, knowingly. Updates to the correct channel. Then you’re all set for some THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

So excited for the resumption of the Will.I.Am and Brittany B$@*! Bowl!!!

BOTH TEAMS with just one conference loss right now are NOT OUT of this thing yet…

The Houston Chronicle preview story says 3,777 students at Tulsa and 8,200 at Rice. Rice is gaining on Wake Forest!

This game is opposite Astros-Rangers Game 4. It’s going to be tough to get sports bar screens tonight in H-Town.

From what I can tell, the entire University of Tulsa student population, including graduate and law school students, is about the number Richard Dean reported in the. Chronicle.
