O. T. Boy, that's why I love football...
There were some GREAT and exciting games this week in the college and pros.
Who would have thought SF would have lost to the Browns? I didn't, but what a shocker when the SF kicker missed the FG to win it. Down to the last seconds.
Another shocker was the Jets beating the Eagles, I didn't expect them to win and changed channels only to find out later that Phila lost. I loved that because Dallas is in the same conference and gives us a better shot at the division trophy.
Did anyone watch the Boise St. vs Colo. State game? With two seconds left a hail mary and the Boise defenders instead of batting the ball down one of them tried to catch it only to bounce off his hands and a Ram was in the right place at the right time to make the catch for the tie. The kicker (unlike Uteps kicker) was able to make the PAT and the Rams won by one point. One great thing is that Boise has a spectacular running back Jeanty. That kid will play on Sundays, he is very elusive and hard to bring down also.
Then there was the Wyoming game which also went into the wee minutes of the game for AF to come out the winner. THAT was also a great game and I was rooting for AF because I was in the AF.
I'm glad that I have all the important channels that bring us college football. The games are exciting to the end.
Oh, I almost forgot the Bills vs Giants game. I thought for sure that the FG kicker was gonna make the FG only to miss and hand the Bills the game with no seconds left on the clock. The Giants coach almost had a cow in that he was livid with the QB in the final seconds of the first half and the kicker missing the FG. The fights on the field added to the excitement.
I hope this weekends games are as exciting.

I think you have a couple of facts incorrect.
Boise State absolutely tried to batt down the ball. The CSU player intentionally stood in front of the receivers/defenders to try and catch a batted ball. And he did it.
The Giants didn't miss a FG before half. They ran a play and Tyrod Taylor audibled to a run instead of a pass. The clock ran out and the NYG never got to kick a FG. They also did not miss a FG with "no seconds left on the clock" to hand the Bills the game. They drove to the one yard line needing a TD to win.

You're semi correct on the boise game. One player tried to catch it and another one tried to bat it down. I might be wrong but I think I'm right and you're half right, just like an Enemas U. fan. LOL
