Bruce got hired my final semester at Auburn, and one of the first things I remember him doing on campus was handing out donuts at midnight in the library during finals week. Just one of the things that stuck out to me.

Bruce Pearl is who I thought of. He has a lot of flaws and issues, but bringing the energy and building excitement around his teams is not an issue.

Noah Boyed would’ve been the other guy we’d have tried to sign. His recruitment blew up. He’s OV’ing Baylor this weekend and possibility signing somewhere next week. Probably should wait til April and he’ll have blue blood offers.

I recall another great shooting UAB guard from Winfield (Carter Long, AKA The Winfield Rifle). Cant wait to see this young man in the Green and Gold at The Bart next year.

Bradley won another game in OT yesterday. Bradley 72 - Utah State 66.

Bradley was only 13-25 (52%) from the foul line yesterday. They went 13-16 (81%) against UAB.

WCU might actually be decent this year. I believe they were the team that won @Notre Dame last week. I get that it's not the ND of the prime Mike Brey years, but still a good win.

Judging from another thread it looks like MTSU had a pretty devastating injury happen that didn’t help the situation.

Yeah they lost their starting PG who scored 11 points against us at Mtsu last year.

I looked at their roster - looks like they had a lot of turnover from last year? Can anyone confirm?

They have two 6’11 guys but they are both freshmen, so I am assuming they aren’t contributing much. They don’t look like a very big team outside of those two guys - actually one is a transfer from Iowa? 6’11 300 lbs but doesn’t seem to play much.

I would just like to reiterate how happy I am with this schedule. Each of the first 3 games were huge matchups. Sure, it would have been better to win all 3 but right out of the gate we had the opportunity to play games against tournament caliber teams. And that's just out of the gate. Middle, Furman, McNeese, So Miss, and Drake are all OOC games against quality teams. Arkansas State looks much better than expected too.

I didn't see where McNeese had won at VCU, that's impressive. They also have a schedule that is very ECU like from back in the day. 4 Non D1 games. Even if they could just be a top 150ish team, that would be good for us. The jury is still out on Southern Miss and Arkansas State in my opinion.
