I really don't know what anyone is expecting outside to some strange abdication by ESPN we will be waiting for a while. (Again, I want consolidation ASAP though)

FSU and Clemson wouldn’t do anything until at least unequal revenue sharing deal is sorted out.

Honestly, I think the earliest possible departure time is 2029 when the B10 gets a new deal. Even then it’s not a sure thing. We don’t know how the media market will change.

I agree completely that the date is 2029. Wake me up in 2029.

I think '26-'27 are the years... new CFP will be in place. Maybe they go to AQ3 at that point as we move into a P3 model, which leaves an At-Large getting another NYD bowl. It may not happen in a single wave, but I can see FSU, Clemson, UNC all moving together with the SEC going at 19 for a few years, before the rest of the Mag7 move the following summer.

Carolina will leave the ACC when Rutgers wins the Big Ten football title. Deal?

Careful, Crayton's model gives Rutgers a non-zero chance of winning the B1G this year. They're certainly far better than they've been in past years.
