Some winnable games upcoming to feel better about the poor results thus far. This one is a must-win for the Satterfield Era (by which I mean I really hope they win, it's not actually a must win. But still)

Iwa State's QB is a freshman that plays similarly to the kid at Miami. If we don't have a spy my head might ka-splod.

Don't sleep on Iowa State, I think Matt Campbell will take this personally. He's an Ohio guy and lost out to UC in a lot of recruiting battles while he was at Toledo.

I can't remember if he was the UT Coach who was telling kids they were going to be in the Big East or not.

I'm not trying to be that guy, but Iowa State already played and lost to Ohio U earlier this season.

I hate to be that guy, but Cincinnati already played and lost to Miami (at home).

Hopefully our coach takes it personally as well. In the DYK category, Satterfield and Campbell were in staff together in Toledo in 2009. Satterfield was the passing game coordinator and QB coach and Campbell was the running game coordinator and coached OL.

Well, we have our bye week so it's going to be awhile until we play the mighty cyclones.

So? What's that got to do with Matt Campbell being an Ohio guy?

IIRC, he did pull david montgomery out of here

That was when Tuberville was still here. When Fickell came in he shut that pipeline down. They haven’t done much in the 2024 class yet, but that is because OSU and Michigan made Ohio a priority this class. OSU and Michigan have 80% of the top 20 players.

We may be setting a new record here on B.B. 20 hours prior to kickoff without a single post on this game since October 4.

I'll say UC 21, Iowa State 17. Some red zone issues get cleaned up on a slippery field and the Cyclones can't muster enough big passing plays to overcome the power of Nippert. If Ohio U. can beat these guys in Athens, UC needs to do likewise.

I believe it's a "high risk" game in that a third straight home loss will suck the life out of our fans and may bring some turmoil to the locker room. Frankly, I'm a little surprised by our coach's comments this week about the UC running backs lacking breakaway speed. Maybe it's his way of firing them up to score on a long rushing TD tomorrow afternoon.

You know the supposed definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.

I keep hearing every week that UC will "clean up" their redzone...ah...issues. It hasn't happened yet.

This is a game between two bad teams.

Plenty of other games on TV you can watch. Have at it.

Somehow, someway we remain five point favorites.

We only have 4 of our group of 10 going and haven't been able to find takers for the others. Sad for homecoming.

Gameday morning and the weather forecast looks much better than what we were told to expect 48 hours ago. I just heard 62 degrees throughout the game with chances of spotty showers according to Fox 19 Weather this morning. Let's be there to witness the first Big 12 conference win. Go Bearcats!

Just the home field on homecoming. With 2 meh to inconsistent teams home usually gets the cookie from Vegas.
