Exclamation Tigers vs Boise St by the numbers
Ashton Jeanty to the left, Ashton Jeanty to the right, Ashton Jeanty up the middle, Ashton Jeanty screen, Ashton Jeanty on the wheel.

I think you get the picture.

Jeanty is averaging 173 all purpose yards per game with a 5.58 yards per rush average.

With an average of 21 touches per game.

Jeanty is responsible for 101 of BSU 177 rushing yards per game and 71 of their 224 receiving yards per game.

Second only to Eric McAlister's 82 yards per game

While BSU allows only 1.5 sacks per game their QB is only completing 53.2% of his passes.

Completing a little over 14 passes per game.

Compared to Seth's 69.4% completion rate on 25 completions per game.

If Seth can somehow return to the player he was his first two years he may be able to have another top ten passing yardage day.

He needs a couple 400 yard passing days if he has any hope of surpassing Brady White this season.

This could be one of them.

BSU's coverage teams are worse than the Tigers.

Although their punter can kick them HIGH and deep, thus flipping field position.

Basic game plan, control/limit Jeanty, do not make stupid mistakes and we should walk away with win.

But the one thing we cannot do is look past BSU to focus on Tulane.

Goal is to go undefeated THIS WEEK.

It looks like the weekly ratings were kind to us in the face of a narrow neutral site loss last week. That's promising to see. A win against Boise could start some interesting conversations.

We need MO to win better than projected in the SEC & we need to win big/win the AAC.

+1, I didn't realize our run D was performing so poorly (by rankings).

I think we are missing a strong presence at nose tackle. Hate to say we miss Cam Jackson but we do. Of course we do, he was very good. But hopefully we can get some improvement out of that position as the season goes on.
