I must have missed the question. I thought I was being asked to list out some Trump failures. I think I did that:

--> Failed at handling the classification mess, thanks to his own dishonesty.
--> Failed at controlling the Jan. 6 mess, thanks to his own bullying tendencies.
--> Failed to show up for the first Republican debate this election cycle, thanks to his own arrogance.
--> Failed to address our out-of-control spending, thanks to his own idiocy.
--> Failed to show himself as a person of good character, thanks to his own sexual immaturity.
--> Failed to run a properly functioning administration, thanks to his gullibility to suck ups.
--> Failed to "act presidential", thanks to his own inarticulateness.
--> Failed to deliver on his own promises, thanks to his laziness and unreliability.
--> Failed to win when it mattered, both in 2022 and 2024.

Was there some other question I was supposed to be answering?

You added context this time. A for effort.

Right.

The main difference is that he's not as good at hiding it, as the others.

I actually consider that off point, since none of them are likely running in 2024. (Excepting Obama, in a shadow capacity. Biden will soon be sidelined.)

The point is whether Donald Trump is more dishonest, immoral, etc. from Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, etc.

You know my answer. (Which MileHighBronco pretty aptly summarized in his gif.)

That's a fair opinion.

I don't agree with it, but it's reasonable. 04-cheers

Although, I may have to agree with you on Tim Scott. He doesn't seem like a complete sleaze-ball.

You are such a joke. 90 would be the tip of the ice burg for Hillary. But she will never be charged. And if you're so stupid you'll argue that then you've proven to be too stupid to talk to.

Ok, that's not even close to a conspiracy theory, and it makes you officially too stupid to talk to. G'day

I always chuckle when you make comments like this. I mean, can you name one politician that does things with the thought of "nation first" over self interest?

You could put any name in the place of Donald Trump in your sentence.

If you can supply me a better option for someone to fight the DC swamp, who is running for President, I'm all ears.

I honesty sometimes wonder what it is that Trump supporters sniff each morning.

The very obvious answer to your question is ANY person (whether politician or not) who set aside their dislike for Donald Trump in order to vote for him - - as I did in 2020 and likely will do again in 2024 - - has shown more care for the interests of our nation than he does. He would not do the same if the situation were reversed. He would, as he did with the Georgia senatorial runoffs, figuratively burn the place down if he wasn't getting his own way.

Another example - - sitting mute while protestors were swarming the Capitol is not illegal. But it does put him at the sorry level of many Democrat turds who likewise sat mute (or even encouraged) the BLM/Antifa riots. Not a good threshold to aspire to. And I am confident that there are LOTS of politicians who would table their own personal disappointment and speak out against people resorting to violence in their cause.

Another example - - Resorting to personal attacks against family members of political opponents (Ted Cruz's father and wife come to mind) takes a special kind of disrespect for the American political process.

Another example - - Opening the door to crap prosecutions because he is too important to observe normal rules when it comes to the handling of classified documents. The real culprits are the corruptocrats in our D.o.J. and FBI, but Donald Trump went out of his way to provide them with all the ammunition they needed and more. Other politicians would not have done the same.

I mean, I get your point.

But, until you can show me one person (who is running for President) that will do more for the common man than DJT, my vote will go to the Orange Dude.

He ain't George Washington, but he's miles and miles better than any other option.

THIS.

Plus, the fact Trump is NOT a politician is a massive plus from my perspective. THAT IS THE MAIN REASON I VOTED FOR HIM IN 2016 AND 2020.

And will do so again in 2024 even if I just write him in.

Damn, just his shocking victory denying that skank Hillary! the Oval Office made Trump's first term a massive success. Hard stop.

I absolutely understand the rationale for voting against a politician. It takes a deep personality flaw to desire wielding power over others - - something that is inherent in pretty much anyone that craves public office. But if you are going to insist on a non-politician, why go for someone as stubbornly dumb as Donald Trump? I’m not particularly taken by Vivek Ramaswamy, but at least he’s got the ability to think on a higher-than-average level.

There are many false accolades incessantly offered up by Trump supporters, but one of the most blatantly incorrect of them is “four-dimensional chess player”. There is no one in the public eye that thinks in more two-dimensional terms than Donald Trump. The most recent instance is his statement that Ron DeSantis’s heartbeat bill was “terrible”. I understand that abortion is not a winning issue for Republicans, but even a below-average thinker could have pulled off the threading of that large needle - - Dobbs ruled that it is a state, not federal, issue.

But not so for two-dimensional thinker Donald Trump. In his reactive mind, if a point favors Ron DeSantis then it must be terrible. What an irretrievable moron.

We are almost certainly stuck with Donald Trump in 2024. That is a huge challenge to overcome, not something to celebrate.
