RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #4
TSU = LACKLUSTER at best tonight. Did someone forget to tell the players there was a game tonight? This fall squarely on the HC Whitten. Poorly prepared = poor performance.
I think I have seen old tractor tires that were not as flat as the Texans were tonight!!

Tarleton is in big trouble if this is the best they could do. Maybe we can get some UTPB players in the portal for next year! Whitten needed to be gone years ago. He had 2 good years in DII because everyone else in the LSC was down or was just always lousy like W NM. Impressed with the crowd, esp for a DII opponent, and a lousy one at that, but the crowds will not come much longer if Whitten continues to sink the team into oblivion. Off with his head!

But they won and your team is 3-1 on the year…

A little of both, but UCA really is THAT good!! They exposed us completely and made us look like a pack of girl scouts with crumbled cookies...

Next up for Tarleton is winless SE Louisiana. I wonder if such a lackluster performance will propel us past them as well? They are fresh off a loss to Houston Christian (Baptist)
BTW, Whitten led TSU lost to WNMU!
There seems to be a roller coaster of ups and downs with Whitten led teams as well. Win big games then have a let down majorly.

It was an awesome finish.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #4
Flashback to Week 8 last year and we just barely escaped the Mighty Bearkats of Southwestern Baptist. They came into our home, they roughed us up, and they had us dead to rights up until the final few minutes of the game. Fastforward to Week 4 '24, and the same sh!t plays out all over again. THAT, my friends, is ALL on Coach Whitten. We were a soft team last year, and we're still a soft team today. And this "awww shucks, we'll get'em next time" good ol' boy routine is really getting old. If we really want FBS we should be beating the britches off of any D2 team that dare enter our domain at this point. That's the natural order of things. That's what tough, "next-level ready" teams do. I'm really starting to wonder if our HC gives a flying flip if we win or lose! I know for sure he doesn't care HOW we win...and HOW you win matters. Our QB play over the past 2 years looks exactly the same. They both absolutely cannot see/find/sniff the open receiver. Absolutely. Cannot. Do. It. And guess what? With our offense being Air Raid heavy, finding and hitting the open guy(s) happens to be pretty f'n important. Even the deaf-mute commentery guy kept saying Gabalis left another guy wide open...because that's the beauty of MM's offense....SOMEBODY is ALWAYS open!! I have to believe Whitten is all up in MM's business on the offensive side of the ball and causing a ruckus internally. He just can't help himself. Otherwise, I'm confident MM would have benched this QB by now. We look exactly like we did last year, and unfortunately, the new QB doesn't have the goods. SWBaptist just showed us that we have not improved, and teams that do not improve are the kind of teams that get whooped at home by some D2 bottom feeder program out of Sh!tsticks, Missourah! What's even more embarrassing is we had some high-ranked recruits in the house for Family Week. Glad they got to see the big crowd, because there was certainly nothing else to see.

Watched the tail end of that game. Gutsy effort and nice execution by EKU down the stretch. EKU is a team not to be trifled with.

I had taken my glasses off cause I just couldn’t watch it anymore, but Whitten and an assistant(Miller maybe) got into a very “spirited” discussion on the sideline very late in the 4th quarter. Looked like they got over it, but that happens on lots of teams.
I’m just glad someone on the staff wasn’t happy with how the game had gone.

My prediction is Whitten is quietly in Lonn’s doghouse. Reisman is probably the most competitive person I have ever been around. He’s not happy with barely beating SWB and is already thinking of the next step.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #4
I hope he is in the dog house but I have my doubts, I thought they were pretty good buddies. Why hire him again after he left and flopped at Sam Houston? Our team is certainly not "next level ready" that is for sure. I just fear they will not fire him unless he goes winless. If this team plays like they did the last 2 weeks they will not win another game this year.
