Mizzou -7 looks pretty good from a betting standpoint...haven't they beaten us 3-4 years ago when had a better team/coach and they were worse (record-wise)? I think they get in the high 30s or 40s and we struggle to get to 17.

If it's a close loss and the w's happen over Boise and Tulane there's no issue really.

Losing 2 of 3 ends NY6 hope and ain't good.

Losing all three means Silverfield is a clown show.

Hope Memphis wins. Always a good day when the Memphis Tigers win against an SEC team. Many years ago, Memphis had a pretty good team and record. That year, they were traveling to Tennessee to face a struggling Vols team that was below .500. I drove to Knoxville with a couple of Tennessee fans who were not confident in the outcome. I let them have it on the way there. Well, Memphis lost 51-17 (or something in that range). The trip home seemed like it was 5,000 miles long because I had to hear a lot of putdowns and criticism from my Tennessee friends. I’m now hesitant when picking Memphis against any SEC team.

If the line went down that early, it means the sharps hammered it. It doesn't mean they think we will win, but that Mizzou is not a TD favorite over us.

Line is back up to -7.5 though.

This is what I seem to remember, too.

I'm curious about who the officials will be. Doesn't the away team's conference usually provide officials? So if the game were in Memphis, we'd have SEC officials. However, since they pulled this neutral game card on us, maybe we'll have AAC officials (I'm not sure if that's any better for us, honestly).

I also hope that the announcers spend some time talking about how this game should've been in Memphis and this is one way that bigger programs screw over smaller ones. If this game is in Memphis, the line is closer to even. Instead, this will probably turn into a 4 hour Visit St. Louis promo.
