The SEC looked fine last year, which was the 2nd year of NIL. I think that unlimited transfers combined with NIL was the real game changer, combined with the joke that is he NCAA enforcement staff. Nowadays, if you don’t get a kid for his freshman year, you just never stop recruiting him. When, as expected, he gets hardly any playing time at Alabama bc the 3 kids in front of him on the depth chart were also 5*…it’s easy to take that sure money and sure playing time elsewhere. When I made that post, Texas and Wyoming were tied 10-10 in the 4th quarter. My post was not a defense of Alabama.

Colorado State and Colorado are actually slugging it out on the field. What I mean by that is not the game being played, but punches being thrown by both sides.

Cincy losing to MiOhio is a colossal embarrassment imo.

I think it is often the case that when a football schedule looks pretty weak, like i thought today's lineup looked, we end up getting some great games anyway.
