Not seen this on our boards. Delaware is considering a move to FBS. Interesting.

RE: Delaware
I skimmed an article from UD Review and got this:
- UD feels like it is too good for new iteration of CAA?
- UD sees JMU as peer, sees JMU's success as a sign of possible UD success if they follow a similar path

Too late for them IMO. If they had themselves sorted out and already had the bags packed like JMU, they might have gotten in during the last round. Where are they going to go, C-USA?

Part of me says you are correct. They were not ready then. And aren’t ready now.

MAC is mentioned a lot in that article. Doubt CUSA for them.

Delaware to join CUSA for the 2025-2026 season. Another regional OOC opportunity.

RE: Delaware
I would have thought they'd be a much better add to the AAC. With Temple, Navy, Army and Delaware together there'd be a nice little northeastern outpost to the league. Temple vs. UD could become quite a rivalry.

ACC has never taken a FCS to FBS move-up. I do think down the line the AAC would be a good fit. BUT they can suck gas in the CUSA forever. I've never heard anything from a hen fan about any good towards ODU.

Their football stadium went through a pricey facelift in 2020, anyone think they're going to add seats for this transition?

I'd be down to schedule a H/H with them. One of the few nearby G5 schools not in our conference.

I don't know whether or not they will add seats, but they will need to do something about that press box. It reminds me of the press box we had on Foreman Field, and it is definitely not an FBS pressbox.

I figured with ODU jumping up and the few teams after that was going to be it for FBS and there was going to be a comfortable group of teams in both divisions this all seems to watered down for me. Although I am looking for ward to vcu fundraising for a team just to join CUSA

Goes back to what 2015? The Norfolk State Game, and NC State when you guys sat right behind us?
Funny, I ran into Punk at the Sports Bar at Spring Hill ODU after the Ga State win this past Saturday night. He was at the rainy NS game in 2015 as well.

Nice to see old friends and acquaintances!

Oooh man now I remember! We peeled out after the game we are all sick and felt like crap after sitting in the cold but damn was it worth it. I've been tweeting about odu and talking about it some other places so I figured I'd check in after this crazy game. I've been tailgating with punk

Missed on this. Honestly thought MAC was better fit academically.
