Viewership Streaks: Can Colorado have a 4th week of over 5M Viewers? (updated)
EDIT: Week 3 had 9.3M in the Late Night Window! Does the streak continue?

5M Viewership is absolutely remarkable. I don't think a team as ever had 3 Consecutive Weeks in the Regular Season with Viewership above 5M.

4M Viewers is the benchmark I am most familiar with for P5 teams.
(For Example: FSU used their number of 4M viewership games as a leverage point recently in the ACC unequal revenue share debate)

4M is impressive but I think Alabama and Ohio State are fairly consistently over 4M.

Last year both Ohio State and Alabama had multiple weeks of back to back over 5M Viewers. Neither of them had 3 consecutive regular season games over 5M.

Coach Prime at Colorado:
7.3M Week 1
8.7M Week 2
9.3M Week 3 (EDIT 9/19)

Can Coach Prime bring in a 3rd consecutive week of over 5M?
- ESPN Gameday at Colorado
- Fox Big Noon Kickoff at Colorado
- Coach Prime will be featured on 60 Minutes this Sunday
UPDATE: Yes, Colorado successful had a 3rd consecutive week of over 5M.

How Long will the Viewership Streak Continue?

I know I'll be watching. Whole thing is fascinating and plus, the team is fun to watch. Especially their skill position players on offense.

Nope, pass. Im already sick and tired of the whole deal.03-puke

We will see how big the drop-off is. Theyve played two P5 teams and now they play a G5 team.

The game might've drawn really well in the other 3 windows, but the late night window has a ceiling. It'll be interesting how high it rates historically for that timeslot slot.

I don't really get why some are so unhappy about what Sanders is doing at CU. Weird vibe.

You mean Kliavkoff's suggestion that Colorado's new coach would boost viewer interest?

He cost Illinois a chance to host FOX Big Noon Saturday. Unless Michigan or Ohio State (or Penn State) come to Champaign, we're not getting another chance again.

Maybe you should be perturbed at the coach who got whipped by Kansas last week

I'll watch it as my doze off game. That said, I'd have probably turned on that game anyway as I enjoy watching rivalry games.

What I think is going on with Colorado is that networks are doing what they always do. Overhype.

Three weeks in and I am already reaching Colorado fatigue. Their coach is not Deion Sanders anymore, it's COACH PRIIIIIIME. They rack up huge yards against, let's be honest, two lousy defensive teams and suddenly Shadeur Sanders is a heisman candidate. Now I'm seeing on the ESPN crawler that CSU said something about CU. Come on.

If they beat USC and Oregon then fine, hype them all you want.

Wasn’t expecting The Rock to wear a Colorado jersey. Kind of hope Miami plays Colorado in a bowl game now.

A 10 pm eastern kickoff against a 23.5 point dog? Yeah, no.
