Watson looks like our next explosive NFL running back. Man, that kid runs HARD.

I'm not sure he has enough open-field speed for the NFL, but he is a damn fine runner.

Yeah, he runs like he's got some fire in him. I just hope he can stay healthy for the season.

Definitely great runs by Watson. But I need to see that a few more games before I move him over Ducker personally. And it still reflects the problems of the run game. Watson or any of our backs shouldn't have to work that hard to make runs like that.

02-13-banana Just Imagine if they run that hard PLUS get good blocking what we can be.

I like what I'm seeing from Watson so far. The Tigers are stepping up in class for the next three games so we are going to learn a lot about who they are.

He has 4.5 speed, better than average but not sprinter speed.

I think he does but we need to see him against better teams for a conclusion

And learn to tackle. We could be a contenda!

RE: So Far
I think they remembered how to tackle at halftime Thursday night.

So, let's get the OL opening holes for the RB's, and hold up the rush and keep Seth protected, and we will be okay.

They also brought in a 3rd safety which helped.

Just curious, who would you say is the fastest guy on the team. We seem to need someone who has a quick first step and great speed. But I don't think Calvin Austin is coming through that door. I love fast guys. Watching Oregon State and they have a little guy who is killing SDSU with his speed. Scates looks to have good speed but we don't do short passes to him very often.

Looks to me like number 0 on offense. I won’t attempt to try and spell his name

Exactly. I feel like we are our own worst enemy when it comes to potential success.
