CAn I say this again.... ?
Silverfield is a really good person, a good example to all and a good recruiter. It looks to me like the players like him too.

Haters live on the fuel it creates. Haters will always find something to hate--in order to fulfill their needs...

Whether we win or lose...they still need hate for fuel. Any other emotion just doesn't feel as powerful to them.

I don't know how Coach Silverfield manages to coach in that kind of atmosphere.
Strength to him.

He made it clear he didn’t need the support of half the fanbase. Crying about lack of fan support now seems weak AF.

The only cretins are the ones claiming it for dramatic effect. I will continue to call them on their hyperbolic falsehood. Did we lose some fans during that sh!tshow - yes. But not half of them.

The serious question is, can we get a good coach who won't leave?

Probably not but if we can hold on to a good coach for 4-5 years we are way ahead compared to 4-5 yrs of mediocrity (or worse). I consider consecutive years of losing in-conference records "worse", considering loss of fans, media notice, loss of revenue etc. which then affect recruiting, ticket sales etc.

There might be 10-15 schools with true destination football programs. Every one else is either looking for a new coach or worried someone else is looking at their’s.
