Got to town last night and enjoyed a nice dinner with my daughter. Walked around campus this morning. Purchased a new game shirt to wear tonight at Tiger Bookstore. Then drove over to the stadium and, what do you know, the city has decided to start tearing up Central Avenue from Highland to Hollywood on the day of game. It's going to be a mess this afternoon.

When Arkansas played in the Liberty Bowl they used our facilities to practice in - said ours were far better. They went back home to raise money for better practice facilities.

Navy has had a few thousand fans at our games over the years. Old naval base in Millington still employs a lot of administrative types. And since I've lived in Atoka, it's surprising to see how many retired military there are here. Neighbor two doors down for instance did a tour at Millington years ago, liked the area, and decided to retire here.

I’ll say this the weather is awesome so that takes away one excuse.
