RE: Charter/Spectrum and Disney/ESPN reach agreement
Does the WSJ article give better details on deal than CNBC article. They just mentioned Charter cable subscribers getting a discounted price for Disney streaming services, and Disney getting an increased fee from charter subscribers for the live channels.

This gives the appearance of less streaming dollars to Disney, but increased cable fees spread across a larger cable subscribers base so potentially more ESPN/ACC money

There won't be an extra charge for ESPN+. I hope that includes ACCNX but I've never understood the difference between ACCNX and ESPN+ anyway. Who does?

RE: Charter/Spectrum and Disney/ESPN reach agreement
Based on my use of the ESPN app. The app has two different logins; 1 for ESPN+ content, which is for ESPN+/Disney+ subscribers, and a separate login for your live programming subscriber, cable or streaming

You have to pay the Disney ESPN+ fee to get the ESPN+ content. If you are paying for ACCN live programming via cable or streaming, then you should not be paying extra to watch ACCNX on the ESPN app.

Purchasing ESPN+ only allows access to ESPN+ content, but not content in live programming Cable/streaming. Same applies with just have cable/streaming service login does not allow ESPN+ content viewing. ACCNX does not require an ESPN+ subscription.
