I was surprised the line wasn't more in the 18 point range. We should win this one by 3 touchdowns. This ain't the Navy of 2015--I'm not sure Navy is any better than Arkansas State.

They fired the coach and replaced him with the D coordinator. Still run the option to a degree, but may try to pass a little more than before.

I really like our defensive backfield. I think Navy will have trouble moving the ball so I gave the Points. I don't usually bet on teenagers, but this one is too good to pass up.

They can't run that offense anymore because they changed the rules on blocking.

You mean they occasionally threw a flag on them for chop blocking. Navy also always seems to have an OL (sometimes more) moving early on the snap count and it never gets called

Hope you are right but I just don't have that feeling. I think we win but expect it to be a struggle.

I just don't know about this one. Are we 14.5 points better than Navy? Yes. Is Silverfield liable to call off the dogs after we get two scores up? Yes, because he doesn't want to embarrass the Midshipmen out of respect for their ultimate future service. It's that little fricking 0.5 hook that bothers me....

Just saying

I got better odds taking -15.5 and feel really good about it. No reason we should not win 20+.

Navy is historically one of the least penalized teams in FBS. They got killed vs ND but they also controlled the clock early just couldn’t punch it in. ND methodically destroyed them. Can we do that ? Who knows at this point. We should know early whether we can or not
