But they called Mccloud for it earlier on a less egregious one.

I think they were both **** calls. But at least it was consistent

Fair game JMU. I thought the refs let some holdings go more than they should but I’m probably seeing it through cardinal colored glasses. O-Line & QB play have to improve or we won’t be going to the SBCCG.

Sucks to lose but still a lot to play for.

The Troy QB hit the brick on the stands 10 feet out of bounds and was in the pocket, didn't think there was much controversy on that one.

I thought the intentional grounding happened on 3rd down, if so why did it not result in a turnover? Genuinely asking, because I don't know.

It results in a loss of down, so after the penalty it's 4th down.

I thought both groundings were clearly good calls. Not sure what either QB was thinking on them.

Really "loss of down" just means you don't get to replay the down, so it goes to 4th down.
