Boston College was a fluke. They’re trash as well, and barely squeezed out a win against Holy Cross. Our offense has 0 rhythm to it. We can’t run block and Lombardi is on his last wheel. Sad that we haven’t developed a single quarterback that can run this offense outside of Lombardi. Lombardi keeps looking worst week to week. This team looks unmotivated. The inconsistency is crazy. I’m not going to continue spending my afternoons to watch this trash. Ok f do one venting now.

If the defense continues to play well, we’ll lose 38-0 next week. If not, we’ll lose 77-0.

Last time we lost to SIU we went 2-10. Maybe an omen for what is to come or can we be like 2007 CMU who got creamed by 1-AA and still won the MAC?

With what I saw yesterday, we will lose to Akron again - as well as the rest of the MAC.

What happens if this season goes off the rails like last year? Start the count down to the end of Hammocks and Frazier contracts? I sure hope this team comes back with an inspired performance next week. I don’t want to have to start looking forward to basketball before conference games begin.

Carey had more talent....just not at QB. Though im not sure if I'd take Rocky over Childers right now. A least Childers could run.

Did they let Lynch pass at all? I remember there were plays where the defense stacked the box and left receivers uncovered because it was so obvious.

Hampton played the series after Rocky got hurt. No idea what the injury was to Rocky but he was on the ground and then they took him away to get checked out.

They didn't let Hampton pass at all. Guess they still don't trust him to not throw INTs.

It was a little weird. He got hit as (or right after) he threw the ball (which happened a lot yesterday) and he got banged up. Seemed like it should have been his throwing hand/arm but it looked like they put a wrap on his left thumb.

It didn't seem to bother him the rest of the game other than the 2nd INT where he looked like something went wrong but I have no idea.

Yall are so quickly to judge and leave this team to dry. It's college football give them a break, we got great talent across the board, they will figure it out.

This is laughable. We do NOT have “great” talent across the board. If that is true, then it is an indictment of the coaching staff, and then, why are we 18-28 in our last 46 games. Please take off the rose colored glasses and look again.

This isn't a 1 off. This team has been majorly flawed going on 5 years.
