Tulane is for real
They might not win but they’ve clearly outplayed Ole Miss in the first half. They’ve got great skill and speed.

Yep, they look pretty solid even with the #2 QB.

And for the few who cling to the ridiculous narrative that university owned on campus stadiums don't matter, the Tulane stadium looks great on TV.

Rooting against Lane Kiffin and that fraud Jimmy Swaggart wannabe Hugh Freeze and the Vols on Saturdays is great fun.

just love 30,000 for two nationally ranked teams. while we settle for 26.600 tickets sold for a last minute replacement FCS team.

Stadium capacity is 30,000, so don't get your point. Unless you are just one of the ones who mindlessly criticize Tulane and UCF for building their own stadiums.

30K is capacity for Tulane. That was a pretty good game. ole miss as usual faking injuries to stop clock and momentum. Getting penalties on purpose to extend drives. Sleazy. But they got the win, so...

Yeah, the announcers were trying to play it straight on the Rebel 'injuries'. Who knows? That's why it works, because how can an official disprove a cramp.

Tulane did pretty well for not having their starting QB.

Some folks just appreciate having a whole row to themselves…

And it RESTRICTS them to 30,000 even when a game has the potential to draw a much larger crowd.

Same game at Superdome would likely have drawn 45,000.

On campus stadium cost a potential 50% increase in attendance.

They are not for real. They lost to the 11th or 12th worst team in the SEC by 17 points.... WTF?

Are we giving them a medal?

Not since Lane has been coaching them.

We can easily have a 30K stadium - just tarp off the upper sections. Establish that there will only be 30K seats available. The value of those seats increases and forces people to commit to tickets instead of waiting until last minute. Once you establish 30K isnt enough, increase it to 35K. Rinse & repeat.

Because they're in the $EC and the season's still young?

They more or less fell apart after the replay reversal.

Took all the wind out of their sails and they never recovered.

+1 them removing the tarps has helped magnify the appearance of the current attendance drop. A 40-50% occupied stadium looks completely empty on tv.

This probably makes way too much sense for us to actually do it.

RE: Tulane is for real
The tarps have been tried in the past. Seems like they presented code issues & ultimately were more trouble than they were worth.

Too, they hacked off fans who traditionally sat in areas that were tarped.
