It looks like our new Chancellor is making a positive impact in this regard. I hope it continues. Our last Chancellor decreased enrollment. Luckily for out last Chancellor, he doesn't have to worry about enrollment numbers at Texas State.

GS may have experienced a similar period with a President Dr. Bruce Grube 1999 - 2009 that had little interest in sports but made significant academic and student enrollment progress during his time. It happens when you begin to think you're invincible sorta.

Our record clearly points to that. Fell off a cliff during his tenure. We're still working our way back arguably. Gotta have both somehow.

There's never a great time for it but it's a good problem to have if that's the case.
