Man I hope so. If I have to miss another weekend of games and MNF, I will lead the riots in the streets.

I'm not sure if the blackout will be lifted before Saturday, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is before the big game Monday night.

I don't get how the Monday night game will do anything. Disney pulled its programming. There is very little pressure on Spectrum to increase or change their offer, since most cable customers don't watch sports. I think only 20% of cable subscribers watch ESPN. It could get interesting if Spectrum announces that will be cutting prices by $10-$15 per month and cuts off Disney.
I also question why anyone thinks a Jets game, of all things, will cause pressure. There is very little buzz in Wisconsin for the Jets game, even with Rodgers. So, if there is little buzz in WI, I doubt there is that much buzz around the country. New Yorkers think that whatever interests New Yorkers interests the rest of the country. In this case, I don't see it. Now, given that ESPN will have to start giving back money advertisers because the network is only available in 55 million homes, may induce them to put the games back on Spectrum. We shall see.

Or you can cancel cable.

Eh - “Denial” is a River in Egypt. Aaron Rodgers is the biggest star in the game next to Pat Mahomes, the Jets actually have pretty good depth, and they’re playing a Bills team with another top 5 superstar with Josh Allen… and I say that as Rodgers being my least favorite athlete of all-time with the possible exception of Bill Laimbeer. I personally hope Rodgers fails miserably, but he probably won’t (at least this season).
That game is going to get a massive rating everywhere, including and especially Wisconsin. I still can’t believe that Packers fans think Jordan Love is worth anything, but we’ll see on Sunday in Chicago. I can’t wait!

It will also feature the return of Damar Hamlin.
No, the Jets aren’t very good but Rodgers will make them better. And it is 9/11 so there will likely be some pre-game ceremony to honor the fallen/milk the ratings.

I was at the Bears-Bills preseason game a couple of weeks ago and Hamlin made a nice tackle. Got a nice ovation from the road crowd. Amazing that he’s back on the field.

Spectrum will give you a $15 credit if you ask to make up for the disruption.
Most markets won't be disrupted this week because they can watch on ABC. However New York City doesn't have that option, their only recourse is ESPN plus or an antenna to pick up WABC over the air.
