Also if you're attending the game there is parking at three spots that provide a shuttle:

See yall in Statesboro.

They also seem to be very confident that they will win. I think we will look better on defense and shut down their offense. They looked.... ok? against a very sorry Citadel team.

Honestly, no real way to tell how competent either team is at this point. I think both teams will learn a lot this week. We scored points on our first 5 drives and then put it into cruise control and swapped a lot of guys in and out just like you all did.

This. Neither team has been tested yet. We'll know more after this weekend. I've respected Georgia Southern for a long time (Erk Russell) and that goes double on their home field. Looking for a good game, and I hope both teams avoid injuries.
Best of luck to you guys, except against us, obviously.

I'd like to think we'll win in a blowout Saturday...but until proven otherwise, I've got this down as a learning experience in the L column. That having been said, I'm surprised by the line ballooning to +7.5

I'm also very surprised by that, to be honest. Things that have changed for us in the offseason:
1. Brin (QB) - probably doesn't have the arm strength Vantrease did, but he appears to be a better decision-maker. KVT had a knack for trying to squeeze a ball into tight coverage instead of taking the wide-open safety valve.
2. Our OL is more experienced (we averaged nearly 8 yards per carry before garbage time).
3. This is probably the deepest we've ever been at WR.
4. We fielded the worst defense in the history of GS football last year. We have a new coordinator. While a shutout of the Citadel isn't overly impressive, it's a step in the right direction.
I think both teams came away last week liking most of what they saw except the few big runs that broke up the middle of the field. This game may likely come down to who can exploit that potential weakness the best.

I agree. Both of our games were over before halftime so not a lot to be learned. I’m concerned about our ability to finish tackles and y’all seemed to run it really well last week. I’m excited for the game! Wish I could make the trip down, but it’s 7ish hours from where we are.

I bought from UAB so I think those will be in II. Good view from the upper deck. I bought season tickets for GSU when UAB shut down and ending up moving to the area. Looking forward to seeing some Blazer faithful in the Boro.
