Las Vegas Aviators
Will the Athletics' AAA team stay in Summerlin (suburban Las Vegas), or do they relocate? The Oakland Coliseum is obviously way too large, but Oakland could be a viable AAA market with a proper stadium. Fresno, which was moved from AAA to A in the 2020 reorganization, may be an option, with the California League Grizzlies moving to Lancaster (which lost their team in 2020).

The aviators will absolutely move once the A's move permanently to Las Vegas.

Fresno does seem like the best place to move.

Where would a suitable home for the A’s AAA club be found?

RE: Las Vegas Aviators
I guess if the A's could park the Aviators at their own spring training facility in Mesa, although it is 18 miles from Chase Field (Diamondbacks), maybe even closer as the crow flies. The Arizona Complex League Athletics also play in Mesa, but at a different stadium.

Presumably if the Aviators and Athletics just swap markets, Oakland downsizes the Coliseum into an appropriate minor league park with some selective demolition and renovations. FWIW, the USL's Oakland Roots are having a temporary stadium being built in the Coliseum's parking lot.

There are stadiums that have hosted AAA teams since 2000 in Tucson, Edmonton Calgary, Colorado Springs, and Fresno. Fresno is currently the only one with an affiliated team as a tenant. Since the California League lost Lancaster in 2020, this would allow baseball to return to Lancaster and result in minimal shuffling.

By best thought would be affiliate with former AAA Fresno Grizzlies and then reactivate the Lancaster Jethawks as their A-Advanced club.

It restores two clubs to their pre-2020 shake up status.

Another thought I had would be to have the Dodgers move their AAA team to Lancaster - which while in Los Angeles County, is still 60 miles from Dodger Stadium - for a setup similar to Houston (Sugar Land), Minnesota (Saint Paul), and Atlanta (Gwinnett). The Aviators would then relocate to Oklahoma City.

I think Fresno would be more likely.

The union has an important say in this matter. They're not going to Fresno.
When your top downtown hotel is a DoubleTree, you ain't major league and they will not bus to a native casino property.

More importantly, two weeks ago Dave Kaval mentioned they have just three options:
Oracle Park and be a Giants tenant
Henderson with massive upgrades to MLB standards
Oakland Coliseum
