Typical sloppy first game--a lot of injury timeouts and "reviews". Game took 4hrs, 9min.

Injury report on Corley is not conclusive-- but may just be bruised or cracked ribs. Worst case could be torn muscle(pectoral area). NOTHING OFFICIAL YET.

So much for college football games not being as long this season. I think the officials need a preseason game. It’s almost if they didn’t know why they threw flags they did and reviewed everything. If Corley can come back Week 3, dodges a huge bullet. Mathison on crutches is not ideal, guessing he’s out at least 2 months. Had a bunch of dudes hurt apparently. If defense can create turnovers and bend not break, we will be in great shape this season. OL was good, everything else can follow if OL adequate.

I expected us to start slow, as we always do and right on cue USF jumped out 17-7 early but the TOPS settled in, the new guys calmed down and from that point forward we outscored USF 34-7. I'll take the first game of the season win.
