TCU finally getting the Texas treatment and was ranked pre-season when they shouldn’t have been. They’ll be a bowl team, but they lost way too many people to challenge for the Big 12 title this year.

Colorado looks good. Shedeur Sanders is very impressive. Over 500 yards of offense for Colorado.

TCU got no pass rush and their secondary was horrible. This is not a Gary Patterson defense, for sure.

Nothing quite like that 3-3-5 defense.

TCU was actaully 4-2-5. And the way they played it made it work.

RE: Other games
BTW, been meaning to point out that Rozner, with NC State on Thursday night, had 1 reception for 14 yards. Not sure what sent him to leave Rice rather late (have some guesses, probably multiple reasons), but I'm thinking he might have been more involved in Rice's offense this weekend and possibly raised his chances at the NFL here.

Let's see how the next few weeks go, and whether this is a function of him still learning the NC State offense.

EDIT: Now that I've had to read 2 days worth of threads, I see it was mentioned. I'll be curious how this ultimately plays out.

28-13 at the half. GJ Kinne is who I wanted if Bloom had been fired. The former Tulsa QB did a great job at UIW and think this is just the start at Texas State. Their roster is made up of transfers from all over including D1 P5’s down to JC’s including numerous receivers and running backs under 5’9”.

UH beat UTSA 17-14. UTSA's 3 interceptions did them in. The star of the game for the Coogs was the DB, Fleming, who had 2 interceptions and a 48 yard punt return that set up one of their two TDs. Here's the box score...

The star of the game was the Luv Ya Blue uniforms. UH should wear them every week.

Be careful what you wish for. Kinne has a former CUSA Championship coach working for him.

The uniforms are fantastic, but I don't like UH wearing blue. They already use gray as an accent color.
