Movie About UT Tennis Player Brad Minns
For those that may not know, Brad Minns was a tennis player for UT in the 1980s who was deaf. A local kid who went to Northview, he went on to win gold medals in tennis in the World Deaf Games. I confess, I had not remembered him until reading today that apparently a movie has been made about his life. Called "Never Give Up," it opened in theaters this week.

The trailer makes it look a little campy, but it's supposed to be a heart-warming drama, at least that's what some sites say. The trailer does show that UT gets some publicity in the movie, as there is at least one scene with his college coach who is wearing UT gear.
