Just some quick things to pay attention to on the BC side game 1:

The more you learn about the defensive line the more you like it. The front 7 is pretty good. Some transfers and guys who have produced a little bit. I like their DEs probably the best out every position group on the D.

Their Safeties are their weakest group by a wide margin. Their backers are stout. Just looking at their defense and they are going to have trouble handling speed this year. Big kids, thick backers, below average safeties. They are going to have some issues vs the pass if their ends don’t get pressure.

Good test for our offense. Our Oline is big too - so kind of hammer vs hammer. Kacper and Rudolph should get open, so that should be fun to watch. Can the line hold up enough to hit the WR when it’s speed vs their DBs? CC

I don’t know what happened to their offense but I really don’t care for them as much as their fans or any other preview written. The Oline is average. The talk of a 1st round right guard is insane (do true RG actually go in the 1st anymore? Let alone a 6’2 listed guard?)

I liked garwo a couple years ago…he would feast in DFS. Wtf happened to him I don’t know. The other RB is short and stocky. Neither is particularly explosive.

WRs are ok. I mean, honestly, that’s being nice. But O’Keefe is good. The other 2 unproven. None of them are Zay Flowers.

I like their QB more than I thought. If you are competent on defense he has some issues. Big kid. Doesn’t run though. So it’s not going to stress our defense.

And that’s basically what it comes down to. The QB will not stress you with his legs. His OLine, in my opinion, is more suspect than many are saying. The guy can throw though.

It’s going to come down to the defense being more competent in coverage. Last year they were the worst defense I have ever seen. If this was last years D this QB would cook. It’s not though. The RBs likely won’t beat you.

If the defense isn’t improved BC will do well. If they are even a bit more competent it’s a game we can win.
