I don't follow UAB soccer but it's disappointing to know our program sucks this bad.

Starting to move towards the "Mark Ingram Sucks" camp and soccer is a part of it for me. Our program has nosedived during Ingram's tenure. The stumble began under Mike Getman and Ingram pushed him out but then he just let the program languish. Hopefully that's not what's happening with Bill Clark and UAB football.

I've defended Ingram but look at our overall athletic program. We've built some facilities but where is the return in the form of improved performance? We've always been at least pretty good in men's basketball. What else are we good right now?

We legitimately might not win a game this year. Lost 3-0 to Charlotte with no shots on goal.

UAB had a 2-0 lead over Temple early, but the first half ended in a 2-2 tie. There was no scoring in the 2nd half. 2-2, final.

Another match where UAB went up 1-0, only to give up a tying goal.


UAB and Temple remain the only squads without a victory this season.

If they don't get a win against Fort Wayne, it'll be a winless season.

On a brighter note, the women's team seems to be decent this year. Need to catch one of their games.

UAB men lose 1-0 at Tulsa. Not a terrible effort but another loss nonetheless. Record stands at 0-5-4. Heading towards the 7th or 8th straight season for UAB men's soccer to not make the CONFERENCE tournament.

Thankful for the football win. Following our other Fall sports is just depressing. Men's soccer is winless, women's soccer winless in the AAC so far, and volleyball 2-17 with 13 L's in a row.

For UAB's sake I hope Dilfer works out great but I still think Mark Ingram sucks as an AD.

The head coach doesn’t need to be fired yet. We play at South Florida in a week and a half. Fire him immediately after that game and make him walk back to Birmingham. Or wherever he’s gonna go once he’s canned.

IF he gets fired. I don’t think Mark Ingram or UAB care about the program anymore. Makes me sick.

So, is the pitch still in such bad shape that it has affected recruiting in one of the better college venues in the country?
